Focus
At foodPickers, we import healthy, often organic, foods from all over Europe and sometimes abroad. We are most comfortable working with challenger brands who are still medium-sized, often family owned, and who are looking for a sustained presence in all of Belgium and Luxembourg. We like “our” products: the way they taste, the way they are produced and they way they are packaged.
Our customers are both conventional retailers and organic specialists. We are able to work with very small customers, but are also equipped to successfully deal with all of the large players in the market. And we work with in partnership with other, specialized and often larger distributors to reach channels that are not our primary focus.
We are a certified organic importer and distributor into the EU with our own warehouse in Zaventem, connectivity with various GS1 systems and have our own sales force.
History
We started foodPickers in 2014 at the proverbial kitchen table with the mission of bringing high quality health food, that could be in the specialized health and organic shops to a broader public by working with the large Belgian and Luxembourg retailers.
We believe we have by now established ourselves as a leading player in the market doing just that.
